Penedo House
Penedo House is an exercise in dialogue between architecture and nature. Set on a granite hillside in Braga, the dwelling is organised around the existing rock, which cuts through the interior as a sculptural element.
The chosen materials — exposed concrete, local stone, and chestnut wood — ensure visual continuity between the built and the natural. Light enters in a controlled manner through south-facing openings, creating serene spaces that shift throughout the day.
"Architecture is the learned game, correct and magnificent, of forms assembled in the light."
Le Corbusier
